Michael McCuddy is a modern artist from Maine currently working in New York.

Having moved away from oil paints due to their toxic nature, Michael is currently working with acrylics in this latest series- Be Flexible.

His current works revolve around repetition of form and the use of everyday objects. Michael creates his imagery in a way that each encounter allows the viewer to discover new passages. As light interacts with the colors and textures, metallics push through ever-so-subtly from the background. Each canvas is bold in its own playful uniqueness; patinas reminiscent of Raku glazes.

Depth. Color. Repetitive Form.
